The accommodations, food and service provided was exceptional.

Our guide Carter was extremely professional and clearly demonstrated his abilities and love of hunting. He was an absolute pleasure to get to know him and spend time with watching him practice his trade.

This was my son’s first ever hunt. Thanks to Mark from the group we were paired with, he was given the opportunity to take his first goose solo and have a video taken of it. Which he did with one shot. The entire group and guide treated us amazing and took the time to teach my son some goose calling skills. Thanks, he is still talking about it.

The sheer number of birds we were given the opportunity to take was amazing. We will be back.

Great Waterfowl Hunt Manitoba

We had a great few days waterfowl hunting with Mitchitoba Outfitters in Manitoba. Excellent accommodation and meals and the hunting was outstanding. Expert guides organized our hunts, including our first ever hunts for Sandhill Cranes.

Michitoba Outfitters Review

This summer a good friend said he would like do a prairie waterfowl hunt and we booked a 2 day hunt with Michitoba Outfitting in Shoal Lake Manitoba. The accommodations and meals were incredible and Kris, Nancy and guide Carter did an excellent job.

We had an excellent hunt (considering how bad our shooting abilities were on the first morning - we last duck hunted 20 years ago with each other) and came home with sandhill cranes, Canada geese, and a variety of ducks.

This was a bucket list hunt for me and we are booking to go back next year!

Kris runs a top notch outfit. The camp accommodations are very nice, the food is excellent (Thanks, Nancy), the hunting equipment is top notch, and the hunting is phenomenal. Kris will find the birds for you. I am a repeat customer for Michitoba and will go again!!!

I work for a nonprofit called Hunters Helping Heroes. The owner Kris donated a three day hunt for three Vets.We hunted am and pm .Put us up in a water front house, with great meals..They even supplied all the ammo. They gave the Vets memories that will last a lifetime, and all Free. Many thanks to all involved.

WOW! Just finished the most amazing bird hunting trip with Michitoba Outfitting. Brought a group of students and we could not have been more pleased. His guiding was phenomenal. The food was outstanding. The lodging was amazing. Highly recommend.

My group and I booked Kris Lodge and fishing adventure in 2017. I had never fished in Manitoba waters before and was not sure what to expect. But boy, I am so glad we booked with him. Kris was the fantastic host and very patient with our group.

We were in waters for hours having experience of the lifetime. Fishes we caught, stories we shared it was all terrific.

Our accommodation was also very comfortable. Beds were nice and clean, and all the bathrooms had showers. On top of it, the kitchen was fully loaded, in case we wanted to cook our own food. Satellite TV and wireless internet was a plus.

We did BBQ at the deck in the evening with the perfect sight of the sunset.

It was a very relaxing holiday with lots of fond memories.

Kris thank you for your hospitality and we will be coming back soon for more adventures.
